2016 AHCA Silver medalWindsor Gardens of Los Angeles Receives 2016 AHCA-NCAL Silver National Quality Award

Windsor Gardens of Los Angeles received the 2016 Silver – Achievement in Quality Award by the American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL). The award is the second highest distinction possible through the AHCA/NCAL National Quality Award Program and was presented to only 4 facilities in the entire state of California. This award honors skilled nursing and post-acute care centers across the nation that have demonstrated their commitment to improving quality care for seniors and individuals with disabilities.

Five Windsor Facilities Recognized with 2014 AHCA-NCAL Bronze National Quality Awards

The American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL) leased the names of long term and post-acute care centers that have earned a 2014 Bronze – Commitment to Quality Award. This award honors skilled nursing and post-acute care centers across the nation that have demonstrated their commitment to improving quality care for seniors and individuals with disabilities.

Five of the 27 facilities in California receiving this accolade are Windsor:

  • Windsor El Camino Care Center
Overall, fewer than 3% of the nation’s skilled nursing facilities receive this accolade: 390 out of roughly 15,000 SNFs nationally. Congratulations to the RDOs, Administrators, DONs, and all the staff at each of these facilities for an outstanding job in confirming Windsor’s excellence on the national stage. These centers have not only successfully applied the criteria of the National Quality Award program, but have demonstrated a true commitment for improving lives through quality care,” said Ed McMahon, Ph.D., Chair of the AHCA/NCAL National Quality Award Board of Overseers. “I applaud and encourage this year’s recipients to continue their quality journeys.”
